What’s boiling at 108

Eating has always been a big part of the Wanderlust experience: How you eat says a lot about how you appear in the world. Whether you grow it, buy it, prepare it or serve it … your food choices are inextricably linked to your personal wellbeing.

For this reason, we are very excited to include breakfast and lunch in the premium ticket for # Wanderlust108Brooklyn. After a year and a half of isolation and social distancing, the experience of dining with your friends will nourish not only your body but also your soul.

There are many providers to choose from, but here are a small selection to get your taste buds tingling …

On the breakfast side, Avocaderia Chill Out presents avocado toast with Balthazar core bread, Hass avocado puree, jalapeno citronette and a selection of soft-boiled eggs, cherry tomatoes or feta. Our friends from Provenance offer chilled cherry oats with pistachio butter and Blue Pearl Chia Fresca. We also have fresh croissants and NYC bagels, freshly baked quiche, and other goodies from local suppliers. And of course, you can recharge yourself with fresh coffee from Brooklyn’s famous Brooklyn Roasting Company or fine whole leaf tea from Paromi.

The lunch menu includes a delicious bowl from our friends at Bowl & Blade of red and white Peruvian quinoa mixed with coriander and olive oil and served with Peruvian corn, sweet potato, avocado and passion fruit / agave dressing. La Cevicheria offers their classic ceviche mixto with fresh fish, prawns and calamari, marinated in lime juice and Peruvian yellow pepper sauce and served with Peruvian corn, onions and sweet potatoes. Do you want something sweet? Wildgood will be offering free samples of their new plant-based ice cream made with the goodness of extra virgin olive oil, and FX Chocolate will be handing out samples of their chocolate bars containing a functional dose of supplements in handmade vegan chocolate with zero grams of sugar.

After lunch you want to visit the (21+) Libation Garden, our interpretation of an outdoor beer garden. We serve Kendall Jackson wines, New Belgium beer, Fruit Smash Hard Seltzer and of course a variety of soft drinks such as Greenpoints Mombucha and the event’s official water, Nirvana HMB. Open from 12.30 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.
